The Austin Prey Memorial Fund: Austin Prey was a 23-year old beloved Milford resident. Austin unexpectedly passed away, and the family is asking for donations to be made in Austin’s name to the Greater Pike Community Foundation with the eventual hopes of setting up a local Fishing Derby event as Austin was an avid fisherman. Austin will be missed and all of our love, thoughts, and prayers are with the family during this time. There will be more information to come as decisions are made by the family on how Austin’s fund is developed. We thank you for your support. Donate to the Austin Prey Memorial Fund.

The Barbara J. Buchanan Fund supports an annual mini-grant program that funds local non-profit community organizations in the arts and culture, basic human needs, health, families, education, and the environment. The Davis R. Chant Fund was created to continue the giving legacy of Davis R. Chant and Chant Realtors, which includes support for festivals in Milford, PA, including, but not limited to: Black Bear Film Festival, Milford Music Festival, Milford DanceFest, Milford Readers & Writers Festival, Opera! Pike! Park! Donate to the Davis R. Chant Fund.

The Edson D. Mosher, Jr. Fund was created to support various local causes and organizations including children and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, food insecurity, health and welfare in the Greater Pike area and elsewhere as recommended by the Donor. Donate to the Edson D. Mosher, Jr. Fund.

Edward and Gertrude Schneider Memorial Fund provides funding to the Milford Enhancement Committee (MEC), a Committee of the Pike County Historic Trust. The MEC works to make Milford a better place to live, visit, and do business. The results are seen in new sidewalks, curbing, landscaping, and historic-style pedestrian lighting throughout much of Milford’s commercial district.  Donate to the Edward and Gertrude Schneider Memorial Fund.

The Family Promise Fund is established for support of the charitable or educational purposes of Family Promise of the Poconos, Inc. Donate to the Family Promise of the Poconos Fund.

The Fund for Greater Pike addresses urgent or important unanticipated funding needs on a timely basis, without a defined funding calendar, The Fund for Greater Pike in particular, but not exclusively, responds to needs arising from natural disasters and/or public health emergencies. The GAIT ACE Fund was established for the benefit of GAIT Therapeutic Riding Center to improve the quality of life of children and adults with special needs through equine activities and therapies. ACE’s primary purpose is to provide financial assistance to participants in GAIT’s programs, enabling them to have a more independent life in society. Donate to the GAIT ACE Fund.

The Green Trees Strong Roots Fund is used to support the purposes of Green Trees Early Learning Center, Inc. (GTELC) and its affiliated agencies. Donate online to the Green Trees Strong Roots Fund.

The I Care About Autism Fund: The mission of Pike Autism Support Services is to provide individuals with autism and related intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) with social, recreational, educational, housing and employment opportunities.

We envision a day when individuals with autism and IDD enjoy fulfilling and independent lives, embracing emotional well-being, interpersonal relationships, social inclusion, personal growth, self-determination, and individual rights.  Donate to the I Care About Autism Fund.

Kontizas Fund – Supports arts and culture, animal welfare, public safety, and emergency services, environmental stewardship/education, child victims of domestic violence, and specifically Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Milford, PA.  Donate to the Kontizas Fund

Lillian and Harvey M. Bessonett Sr. Fund supports charities of the donor advisor’s choice.  Charities and causes will include but are not limited to human services such as food security and housing needs, and animal welfare organizations.  Donate to the Lillian and Harvey M. Bessonett Sr. Fund.

The O’Neil Family Fund was created by Charles and Celeste O’Neil to support various local causes and organizations including historic preservation in Milford PA, autism support services and food insecurity in the Greater Pike area and elsewhere as recommended by the donors. Pedranti Family Charitable Fund  supports charitable endeavors that meet the needs of the community through efforts including but not limited to:  community enhancement, health and welfare including medical research, education, historic preservation, arts and culture, and the Fund for Greater Pike with an emphasis on the Greater Pike area.  Donate to the Pedranti Family Charitable Fund.

The Peter and Kathy Maio Fund was created to support various environmental issues as well as organizations addressing housing and food insecurities in the Greater Pike area and elsewhere as recommended by the Donors. Donate thePeter and Kathy Maio Fund.

The Petersheim Fund supports donor-recommended local entities across the nonprofit, religious, and community-building spectrum.  Donate to the Petersheim Fund.

Pike County Emergency Services Initiative Fund was established to provide funding to qualified Pike County emergency services agencies and other nonprofit emergency response organizations, including training programs.  Donate to the Pike County Emergency Services Initiative Fund here.

The Pike Medical Foundation Fund was established to provide funding needed to support, sustain, and enhance existing and future medical services within Pike County. Donate to the Pike Medical Foundation Fund.

The Ralph F. Berry Memorial Fund supports charities of the donor advisor’s choice in memory of Ralph Berry and the causes he held near to his heart during his lifetime.  Donate to the Ralph F. Berry Memorial Fund.

The Richard L. Snyder Chair of Conservation Studies Fund was established to honor the memory of Richard L. Snyder, a community benefactor, and great conservationist, this fund will provide a yearly stipend to the Delaware Valley School District to create and maintain a Richard L. Snyder Chair of Conservation Studies.  Donate to the Richard L. Snyder Chair of Conservation Studies Fund.

The Richard L. Snyder Fund supports an annual open grant program which funds non-profit organizations conducting work in the following areas: maintaining and enhancing the public areas of the Borough of Milford; sponsorship of local arts, culture, festivals, and events; and medical research in the fields of multiple sclerosis, HIV, LGBT issues and domestic violence. The Richard Rhodes River Rescue Fund – 100% of the income from the “RRRR” fund is allocated to the National Canoe Safety Patrol for purchase of equipment, training, and other necessary items to fulfill their mission to provide rescue and assistance, as well as safety education, to guests visiting the Upper Delaware Recreation Area.  Donate to the Richard Rhodes River Rescue Fund.

The Safe Haven Legacy Fund was established by Safe Haven of Pike County, Inc., to provide grant awards to eligible nonprofit organizations in Pike County to assist victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to find and relocate to permanent (as opposed to emergency) safe housing.  Donate to the Safe Haven Legacy Fund.

The Schneider Family Fund was created by John “Duke” and Joan Schneider to provide meaningful support for causes and charities recommended by the donors. Donate to the Schneider Family Fund.

The Shuttleworth Fund was created to support various local causes and organizations in the Greater Pike area and elsewhere as recommended by the donor. Donate to the Shuttleworth Fund.

The Thomas and Jean Hoff Fund was established to primarily benefit the community of Pike County, PA, specifically the Pike County Public Library.  Donate to the Thomas and Jean Hoff Fund.

The Turano Family Fund was established to support organizations that provide opportunities for advancement of youth, including but not limited to arts, education, literacy, cultural enrichment, recreation, childhood illness, and advocacy related to the support, wellbeing, and rights of children and young people. Funding is also available to organizations that provide support to survivors of domestic violence through counseling, relocation assistance, and/or legal fees. Donate to the Turano Family Fund.

The Walt Edwards Ashenfelter Fund for Performing Arts was established in memory of Walt Edwards Ashenfelter to support the musical entertainment in Milford that Walt loved.  Donate to the Walt Edwards Ashenfelter Fund for Performing Arts.

The William and Deborah Hookway Fund  supports various local charitable entities in the Sussex County, NJ, area and elsewhere, as recommended by the Donors. Charities and causes include but are not limited to the Sussex County YMCA and animal welfare organizations. Donate to the William and Deborah Hookway Fund.

The Xavisean Fund was designed to promote civic engagement, historic preservation, social justice, healthcare, and cultural endeavors in the Greater Pike region.  Donate to the Xavisean Fund.
