Pre-K Scholarship Applications Available

Greater Pike Community Foundation announces the availability of 2019 Pre-K scholarships to families in the Greater Pike area.  The scholarships will provide full or partial tuition for local children attending summer or school-year programs at the Center for Developmental Disabilities (CDD) or Green Trees Early Learning Center. Applicants must reside in Pennsylvania and have children between the ages of three and six attending an approved Pre-K program.  Household income must be less than $85,000 annually, plus $15,608 for each dependent.  See application for...

The Honesdale National Bank (HNB) donated $2,500 to Greater Pike Community Foundation through the PA Department of Community and Economic Development’s Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program. Through Greater Pike, the EITC Program provides significant funding for innovative educational programming enhancements in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) at Delaware Valley School District (DVSD).  The funding will assist STEM faculty with equipping the MakerSpace laboratory, a program utilizing robotics, coding, math, engineering, physics, and other disciplines in a creative, shared space.
