Pike County area residents opened their hearts and checkbooks to support disaster relief efforts following a hurricane in Puerto Rico and earthquake in Mexico earlier this fall. The Greater Pike Community Foundation’s Hotel Fauchère Emergency Relief Fund, established by Hotel Fauchère employees and management received donations exceeding $6300 in a little over one month. The Emergency Fund was established as a pass-through fund of the Greater Pike Community Foundation with 100% of proceeds being donated to relief efforts in the affected areas. “We...
