GPCF Receives Hometown Star Award

Business leaders from around the area gathered at Silver Birches on Lake Wallenpaupack on November 3rd, 2017, to celebrate success at the Pike County Chamber of Commerce’s “Chamber of Champion Awards” dinner. Greater Pike Community Foundation (GPCF) was honored to receive the 2017 Organization Hometown Star Award for enabling generous individuals, families and local businesses to maximize their charitable support through organized, targeted community philanthropy.
James Pedranti, Chair of the GPCF Board accepted the award on behalf of the Foundation stating, “This is a great time to be on the Board of the Greater Pike Community Foundation. We are growing and the community is increasingly aware of our vision for the future in creating a permanent collection of funds for the long-term benefit of the greater Pike area. As our slogan says, we are ‘For Good. Forever’.”
