Richard L. Snyder Fund Grants Available
July 05, 2019
Greater Pike Community Foundation announces the availability of $90,000 in grant funds from the Richard L. Snyder Fund.
Dick Snyder’s most enduring support for Pike County is his legacy to the Greater Pike Community Foundation. In keeping with his wishes, the Foundation annually distributes income from the Richard L. Snyder Fund to nonprofit organizations within designated fields of interest. This year, grants ranging from $500-$5000 (with two qualifying for $7,500) will be awarded for maintaining and enhancing the public areas of Milford; local arts, cultural events, and festivals; medical research and programs; and the prevention of homosexual intolerance and domestic violence.
Eligible organizations should apply online. The Foundation will accept complete applications until 5:00PM on July 31, 2019; it will not review incomplete applications. Applicants should expect an email acknowledging receipt of their proposals within two business days of submission. Please note that organizations must provide final reporting for any previous Richard L. Snyder Fund awards before the Foundation can consider their applications. For more information, please contact Maryanne Monte, Grants Committee Chair, at 570-296-5420 or email grants@greaterpike.org.
