Weinberg Foundation $25,000 Donation Will Help Covid Relief Efforts

May 24, 2020

Contributions continue to pour into the Greater Pike Covid Relief Fund (GPCRF) including a notable $25,000 donation from The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation.  Greater Pike Community Foundation Chair Jim Pedranti noted, “We were very pleased to receive this substantial donation from the Weinberg Foundation; it is sorely needed.”   Pedranti added, “It will help us support relief efforts both in the short and medium term as the Greater Pike region moves to overcome the harm inflicted by the pandemic.”

GPCRF was established to help qualified nonprofit and government organizations in their efforts to aid those harmed by the COVID pandemic. To that effect, the fund is currently distributing more than $75,000 in grants to food pantries, child care centers, cultural organizations, health and human services and others. The Foundation will be awarding more grants from the Covid Relief fund soon. For application information or to make a donation, visit our  website
