Grants Available from the Barbara J. Buchanan Fund

Greater Pike Community Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of grants from the Barbara J. Buchanan Fund for eligible nonprofits beginning February 1st, 2021.
Greater Pike’s Grants Committee Chairperson, Maryanne Monte, said, “Because of Barbara Buchanan’s generosity, we will be awarding three $1,000 grants. The opening of this grant cycle underscores the legacy of commitment Barbara had to her community and to the causes she held dear.”
The deadline for applying is February 14th at 5PM. This annual program funds eligible local nonprofit community organizations in the arts and culture, basic human needs, health, families, education, and the environment with innovative ideas for improving our quality of life.
Since Greater Pike opens various grant opportunities during the year, it is important to indicate on the application that it is for a grant from the Barbara J. Buchanan Fund. The application can be downloaded online. Any prior Greater Pike grant recipient applying must be up to date in all grant reporting requirements from previous grant cycles by the deadline or their application will not be considered.
