MILFORD, PA – After a pandemic-related hiatus, Greater Pike Community Foundation’s Annual Workshop for non-profit organizations is scheduled for Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at the Tom Quick Inn in Milford, PA. The morning will begin with a light breakfast at 8:30 AM, and the meeting will commence promptly at 9:00 AM.

“Our goal for this event is to foster collaborative solutions to address the identified needs and challenges in our community,” said Maryanne Monte, Greater Pike board member who helped launch this annual event as part of the Milford Enhancement Committee more than 20 years ago and now spearheads the initiative for Greater Pike.

At this networking event, each non-profit will have an opportunity to update the group on its organization’s programs and activities. Participants also will learn of the Foundation’s upcoming events and grant opportunities and have a chance to ask questions about funding and other topics.

“We’ve heard and seen that the networking that occurs as this event is very effective,” said Monte, “so please plan to stay until the end of the event.”

“This is an excellent opportunity to spread the word about your non-profit, to learn what other organizations are doing, and to gain a better understanding of ways in which we can work together to benefit our community,” she added.

The event and the breakfast are sponsored by Milford Hospitality Group, Tom Quick Inn.

Reservations are required and space is limited to two representatives per organization so please reserve early. Please email your RSVP by March 29 to tammysavarese@greaterpike.org or call 570-832-4686. Include your name, your affiliated organization, and your brief write-up if you plan to present during the session.
